The SQL Anywhere plug-in provides several properties windows that let you configure object properties.

You can find most of the configurable settings in the SQL Anywhere plug-in for windows, which can be accessed either through the File menu or the Tools menu. If you have different plug-ins installed in Sybase Central, each plug-in may provide different menu items.

The File menu contains commands related to the objects that appear in the main Sybase Central window. These menu items change depending on which object you select. For example, if you select a table, the File menu shows commands and options related to tables. Likewise, if you select a column, the File menu changes to show column options. You can also access all these menu items when you right-click an object.

The Tools menu contains commands related to connecting, disconnecting, plug-ins, and Sybase Central options. These menu items always remain visible, regardless of the objects you select in the main window.

You can also configure settings in SQL Anywhere using properties windows. The properties windows appear on the File menu, or when you right-click an object with configurable properties. The following sections contain detailed descriptions of each properties window in the SQL Anywhere plug-in.
