The configuration number '%d' is invalid.
Each Adaptive Server configuration parameter has a unique identification number assigned to it. For parameters set by users, this number is stored in the config column of the sysconfigures table.
Adaptive Server uses these configuration numbers to identify the option to be displayed, loaded, modified, or verified when you run sp_configure. Error 5859 occurs when the configuration number Adaptive Server tries to use to identify the option is invalid.
This error can be caused by corruption of sysconfigures or by an Adaptive Server problem.
When you call Sybase Technical Support, have the information available that is listed in “Reporting errors”, including the output from select * from sysconfigures.
