Integrated functionality between IPS components

The components of the Mainframe Connect IPS can be used alone or integrated within an environment of Sybase products. Used together, these components provide mainframe data access in distributed, client/server and Internet environments. The figures in the following sections illustrate how the components in the Mainframe Connect IPS (shown in bold) and related products function together to provide access to data on the mainframe:
