Defining the Login Configuration of a Web Application

Define the login configuration for your Web application, including: authentication type, realm, error page, and login page.

  1. In the WorkSpace Navigator of the Web Application Development perspective, select web.xml.
  2. Select the Pages tab.
  3. Expand the Login Configuration section.
  4. Click the arrow in the Authentication field and select authentication type.
  5. (Optional) Enter the realm name.
  6. (Optional) Click Browse adjacent to Error Page, and select the error page you want to use.
  7. (Optional) Click Browse adjacent to Login Page, and select the login page you want to use.
