Adding an Environment Entry to a Web Application

Add environment entries to your Web application from the list of defined entries.

  1. In the WorkSpace Navigator of the Web Application Development perspective, select web.xml.
  2. Select the Other tab.
  3. Expand Environment Entry. A list of defined environment entries is displayed and a General Information section appears.
  4. Click Add. A new environment entry is added to the list with the default name "NewEnvEntry x."
  5. Change the default name to a unique, descriptive name in the Name field of the General Information section.
  6. Enter a value.
  7. Select an environment type.
