Creating a DataWindow Library in Sybase WorkSpace

Create a DataWindow library in Sybase WorkSpace using the DataWindow Library File wizard.

For a detailed procedure of how to create a DataWindow library, see Building a DataWindow Object.
  1. Select File > New > Other from the main menu bar of the Web Application Development perspective.
  2. Expand Sybase and select DataWindow Library.
  3. Enter or select the folder in which to create the DataWindow library.
  4. Enter a descriptive name in the File Name field.
  5. Click Next.
  6. Do one of the following:
    • Select a database connection profile or a database.
    • Click New Connection Profile and create a JDBC, ASA, ASE, or ASIQ database connection profile.
  7. Click Finish.
