Specifying Type Mapping for an EAServer Services Package Profile

Type mapping is a way to map between a Java class and SOAP data in an EAServer services package profile. Specify type mappings from the Type Mappings page of the EAServer Services Package Profile editor.

Changes made in the package profile definition are used for this profile only and do not change the basic service.

  1. From the EAServer Services Package Profile editor select the Type Mappings tab.

    The Type Mappings page displays.

  2. Use the following table as a guide to defining your type mappings
    Table 1. Type Mapping page sections
    Section Description
    Type Mapping Displays the Java classes used in the service that is highlighted in Sybase WorkSpace. You can add, edit, or remove items from this list.
    Bean Mapping Allows you to add Java beans that map to the Java class highlighted in the Type Mapping section. You can add, edit, or remove items from this list.
