Configuring the Runtime Container for an EAServer Services Package Profile

Define the runtime configuration settings for an EAServer 5.x or EAServer 6.x Web Service Container.

The Server Type identifies the server version to which the package is to be deployed.

  1. On the Runtime Container Configuration page of the EAServer Services Package Profile editor, select EAServer 5.x Web Service Container or EAServer 6.x Web Service Container.
  2. ClickCreate Package.

    A successful process creates a <package name>.jar file in the associated project folder in the WorkSpace Navigator under a EAServer 5.x Web Service Container or EAServer 6.x Web Service Container subfolder depending on the selected option.

    While the build process runs, you can view the progress in the Console view.

    Note: If the Create Package button is disabled, the service package profile was not saved. Click the Save button on the toolbar to save the services package profile.
