Starting and Stopping a Sybase Search Server

To work with Sybase Search in WorkSpace, first start the Sybase Search server.

Sybase Search server is not included in Sybase WorkSpace. You must install and configure the Sybase Search server from Data Integration Suite.

Use the instructions for starting and stopping the Sybase Search server provided in the Sybase Data Integration (DI) Suite Installation Guide or see the documentation collection available on the Sybase Product Manuals Web site at http://sybooks.sybase.com.
