Setting Up JMS Drivers for Runtime

Set up JMS driver classes for inbound and outbound messaging runtime transports that are dependent on an external JMS database or messaging provider.

  1. Stop the Service Container server. Stopping the Service Container server stops all three servers: Service Container, EAServer, and then Adaptive Server Anywhere.
  2. See your JMS provider product documentation to locate the JAR or ZIP files associated with the driver and .dll files if the implementation includes native code.
  3. Extract the JAR and ZIP files containing Java classes to the <installation directory>\EAServer\lib\ext runtime server directory.
  4. If the driver uses DLL files, copy the files to the <installation directory>\JDK1.5.0_12\jre\bin directory.
  5. Restart the Service Container server.
