Deploying a Services Package

Create the packages for each target server using the custom configuration specified when creating the deployment profile and deploy the package to the corresponding target servers.

  1. In WorkSpace Navigator, select the services package profile to use to create the package.
  2. Right-click the services package profile and select Deploy Package.

    The Select Target Server dialog displays a list of servers that are available to host the package, based on the type of package you have selected.

  3. Select a target server from the list in the dialog.
  4. Click OK.

    All services in the deployment definition are executed. The package is generated and immediately deployed to the server. The Executing Deployment status dialog box indicates the progress of the deployment and allows you to run the deployment as a background task, cancel the deployment, or view additional deployment details.
