Developing a Search Service

Develop a Search Java service to use in a business process.

1. Starting and Stopping a Sybase Search Server
   To work with Sybase Search in WorkSpace, first start the Sybase Search server.
2. Setting Search Server Preferences
   Use the Preferences dialog to define the global parameters for the Web robots that are used in the Search server.
3. Creating a Search Server Connection Profile
   Create a new Search server connection profile to supply the runtime connection information of a Search server component.
4. Creating a Custom Search Service
   Create a Search service that can be deployed and published in WorkSpace. The Search service is created as a Java service.
