Attribute Management

Every item in the data catalog has attributes that describe and identify it. You can add attributes to help you search for and manage the contents of your data catalog.

• Attributes
  Each object in the data catalog has attributes that store information such as the time at which the object was created and the name of the user who owns the object.
• Modifying an Attribute Value
  Change the value of an attribute for a data catalog object.
• Adding and Removing Attributes
  Create new attributes for data catalog objects or delete existing user attributes.
