Changing Your Repository Password

You can change the password that you use to connect to the repository at any time. You may be required to change your password if it has expired or if the password policy has become more restrictive.

Note: In the event that you have forgotten your password or have been blocked for multiple failed logins or inactivity, you must ask your administrator to reset your password (see Unblocking Blocked Users).

Select Repository > Change Password to open the Change Password dialog.
The dialog lists the rules of the repository password policy that all passwords must respect (see Defining a Password Policy).
Enter your old password, and then enter your new password twice.

When your new password conforms to all the policy rules and the values entered in the New password and Confirm password fields are identical, the OK button becomes available.
Click OK to complete the change and return to the repository.
