Data Change Notification Fails after Upgrade

Problem: Data Change Notification (DCN) fails after upgrade.

Explanation: SAP Mobile Platform only accepts POST DCN requests by default; the GET DCN method is no longer accepted. Previously SAP Mobile Platform accepted both GET and POST DCN requests. After upgrade, Data Change Notification (DCN) components would not work until you enabled the HTTP GET method for DCN through SAP Control Center.

Solution:

From the SAP Control Center left navigation pane, select Configuration.
In the right administration pane, click the General tab.
From the menu bar, select Components.
If you want SAP Mobile Server to be backward compatible with DCN code written previously, select Data Change Notification and click Properties.
Select the Enable HTTP GET method text box. By setting this property, developers do not need to update the code of existing applications.
