You can save character mapping definitions to a file, allowing then to be reused in other projects. See Exporting mapping definitions and Importing mapping definitions.
On the Character Mapper component window, click the Export character mapping icon on the toolbar.
Provide a file name and click Save. Character Mapper saves the file without an extension.
In the Character Mapper component window, click the Import character mapping icon on the toolbar.
Select the file you want to import and click Open.
