Stopping EAServer

Stop EAServer Developer Edition server from Sybase WorkSpace, the EAServer Web Console, or a command line script.

Choose from:
Option Description
Using the Windows Start menu Select Start > Programs > Sybase > Sybase WorkSpace > EAServer version > Stop EAServer
Using External Tools If you installed Sybase WorkSpace and EAServer on the same machine, you can stop the application server using the External Tools feature in the main menu bar.

Select Run > External Tools > Stop EAServer version # Server.

Using the command line On Windows, run:

<installation directory>\DevRuntimes\EAServer\bin\stop-server.bat

On UNIX:

<installation directory>/DevRuntimes/EAServer/bin/stop-server.sh
