Managing Java Projects and Java Builder Settings

The Java service editor and transformation services that use custom Java transformation code require a Java project or a project of another type in which the Java project nature is configured.

• Creating a Java Project
  A Java project with a Java nature is required to develop a Java service.
• Configuring the Java Project Nature
  You can configure the Java nature in non-Java projects.
• Configuring a Java Source Folder
  Creating a separate source folder allows you to separate Java source files from other files in a project.
• Configuring the Java Library Search Path
  In a Java project or another project that has the Java nature, the Java Library settings configure the class search path used by the Java compiler and Java runtime interpreter to find Java class files.
• Configuring Java Builder Resource Filters
  In a Java project or a project with the Java nature, the resource type filters determine which file types are copied into the runtime build of your project.
• Importing Java Source Files
  You can import Java source files to a Java project or another project that has the Java nature.
