Creating a Java Project

A Java project with a Java nature is required to develop a Java service.

Create a Java project using the New Project wizard. Alternately, you can add the Java nature to a project when running the New Service wizard or configure the Java nature to a Sybase project and configure the Java builder to run in the project.

  1. From the main menu bar, select New > Project. The New Project wizard opens. The wizard displays help that assists you in the decisions and selections that you need to make when you are creating your project.
  2. Click Java Project.
