Web Application Project Templates

Use a project template to add its component support to a new project.

When you create a Web Application project, you can create a blank project or use a template. If you create a blank project, you can select component support and add project references. If you use a template, your project inherits the component support defined in the template.

Template Description
Blank Project A blank project includes JavaServer Faces (JSF) component support, which is selected by default. You can add DataWindow and SOAP service component support to a blank project.
Car Demo This is a sample application.
GuessNumber This is a sample application.
Sybase Web Application Sample The Web application sample is partially built. Follow the tutorial documentation to finish building the Web application.
Sybase SybStore The SybStore tutorial is partially built. Follow the tutorial documentation to finish building the Web application
Sybase Book Store This is a sample application.
Note: The Car Demo and GuessNumber templates are provided by Sun's JavaServer Faces Reference Implementation, which is included with the Web Application Development component of Sybase WorkSpace. For more information about JavaServer Faces, see http://java.sun.com/javaee/javaserverfaces/index.jsp.
