Viewing and Editing Web Application Source Code

View and edit the XML source code of your Web application pages in the web.xml editor, the JSF Application Configuration editor, or the source section of the Web Page editor.

The Web Page source editor provides syntax highlighting and content assist to help you write tags.

To view or edit source code:

  1. In the WorkSpace Navigator of the Web Application Development perspective, do one of the following:
    Option Description
    To open the web.xml editor Select web.xml.
    To open the JSF Application Configuration editor Select faces-config.xml.
    To display a graphical view of the Web page in its source code Select <pagename>.jsp then skip step 2.
  2. Select the Source tab. The selected editor opens, displaying the XML source code.
