Defining a Database Service Endpoint Binding

Define database endpoint binding operation parameters and properties.

1. Do one of the following:
   
   • If the service needs to be bound to an endpoint:
     
     1. Right-click the Interface box in the Service Interface diagram and select Add Endpoint.
     2. Select Database as the endpoint style and click Next.
     3. Follow the instructions in the wizard.
   • If the service is already bound to a database endpoint, on the Service Interface page of the Service editor, double-click either the line connecting the interface and binding or the binding and the endpoint, or right-click and select Edit Binding.
2. Edit or add operation parameters as necessary in the Service Binding editor.
