Deploy a Mobile Application project directly to an Unwired Server.
PrerequisitesÂ
A connection profile to at least one Unwired Server must be available before you deploy a Mobile Application project to a server.
-
Right-click the Mobile Application project and select Deploy to Unwired Server.
-
Select a target Unwired Server for
deployment and click Next, or select New Connection Profile to create a connection profile to an Unwired Server.
-
Select the contents to be deployed and click Next.
-
Confirm the target Package name and target Package version, and click Next, or modify the default settings.
-
Enter the deployment mode, and click Next.
-
(Optional) Map logical roles to physical roles. Click Next. Or select Perform role mapping following deployment to perform role mapping after deployment from the target Unwired Server administration console.
-
Map connection profile to server connections. This allows you to map connection profiles used for development (design time) to an appropriate server-side connection. For example, your development environment might permit access to certain systems that the Unwired Server prohibits. To map the connection profile to a server connection select the connection profile from the list of available connection profiles then select the corresponding server connection to which it maps.
Note: You cannot map data source types where a server connection is not used (for example, files), or the data source does not contain runtime connection information ( for example, Web services).
-
Click Finish to deploy the deployment package.
