Deploy

Use the package and deployment editors to deploy to multiple servers, create repeatable deployments, and to deploy multiple development packages. You can also create and deploy device applications in Visual Studio.

For each Visual Studio project, there is one server package. All mobile business objects that you deploy within a project are deployed to the same server package.

After you deploy a development package, generate code for a mobile device, create a user interface for the device application, and deploy the application to the device.

  Deploy a Mobile Application project directly to an Unwired Server.
• Creating a Package Definition
  Define a development package to simplify redeployment, and enable deployment to multiple servers.
• Creating a Deployment Definition
  Create a deployment definition to deploy deployment packages to one or more Unwired Servers.
• Deploying Packages from a Deployment Definition
  Deploy the deployment packages contained in a deployment definition.
• Viewing Deployment Output
  When you deploy mobile business objects to Unwired Server, the output displays in a new window.
• Deploying a Device Application
  Deploy a device application so you can run it on an emulator or a mobile device.
• Manage Deployed Packages and Mobile Business Objects
  Once deployed, manage deployed packages and MBOs from the Unwired Server's administration console. However, you can perform limited administration from the Server Explorer.
