Creating a Replication Server Publication

Create a Replication Server publication, which is a group of articles from the same primary database. A publication collects replication definitions for related tables or stored procedures, which enables you to subscribe to these replication definitions as a group.

Prerequisites 

Make sure the Replication Server is running. Create and establish a connection to the server.

  1. Expand the tree for the Replication Server connection profile, right-click a primary database for which to create the replication definition, and select New Artifact.
  2. Select Publication and click Next.
  3. Specify publication settings.
    Field Description
    Publication Name Enter a name for the publication class.
    Primary Data Location Select the Primary Server and Primary Database.
  4. Click Finish.
