ASA Execution Plan View Options

Set ASA execution plan view options to specify defaults for viewing ASA query plans.

Property	Description
Show Plan While Executing SQL Statements	Show the query plan in the Execution Plan view while executing SQL statements, for text plans only. You see actual statistics as the query executes. For graphic plans, the query must execute to show the plan. Whether you select this option or not, you can get an execution plan from the SQL Editor with estimated statistics.
Plan Options	Short Description compares plans quickly. Long Description provides slightly more information than the short description and is easy to print and view. Graphic Plan displays the execution plan in graphic format. Graphic Plan with Statistics is similar to the graphics plan but also displays actual runtime costs of executing the statement.
