ASE Execution Plan View Options

Set ASE execution plan view options to specify defaults for viewing ASE query plans.

Property	Description
Show Plan While Executing SQL Statements	Show the query plan in the Execution Plan view while executing SQL statements, for text plans only. You see actual statistics as the query executes. For graphic plans, the query must execute to show the plan. Whether you select this option or not, you can get an execution plan from the SQL Editor with estimated statistics.
Plan options	(ASE 15.x only) Graphic Plan displays the execution plan in graphic format, such as Interactive SQL. Text Plan displays the execution plan in text format, such as `showplan`.
