Creating a Single or Cluster Connection from an Interface File

Import Data Assurance (DA) resources from an interface file.

1. In the Perspective Resources view, select a DA server.
2. Select Resource > Administration Console.
3. Expand Data Assurance Server, then select Database Connections.
4. Either:
   • Select Folder > Import Connection, or,
   • Click the button that appears when you select Database Connections, then select Import Connection.
5. Browse through your local drive, select an interface or sql.ini file, then click Next or Import Resource Type.
6. Specify the DA server and resource type to use, then click Next or Resource Selection.
7. Select the resources to import and the agent that this connection is using, specify the username and password to connect to the selected agent, then click Next or Confirm.
   Note: The password field is not required.
8. Click Finish.
