Device Application Designer Error and Warning Preferences

The Errors and Warnings preferences allow you to set the problem level for errors reported in the Problems view when you verify the device application.

You can edit the severity of errors and warnings on the Flow Design, Screen Design Controls, Screen Design Actions/Validation, General [Device Application Designer], BlackBerry, and Windows Mobile to these levels:

Error – an error appears in the Problems view. Errors prevent the generation of the device application.
Warning – a warning is not as critical as an error, and the problem that caused the warning appears in the Problems view.
Ignore – when set to "Ignore," this condition does not appear in the Problems view.

Editing Error and Warning Preferences
Use the Preferences dialog to edit the severity of the warnings and errors that appear in the Problems view.
