Editing Error and Warning Preferences

Use the Preferences dialog to edit the severity of the warnings and errors that appear in the Problems view.

1. Right-click on any page of the Device Application Designer (except the Introduction page), and select Preferences.
2. In the Preferences dialog, navigate to Sybase, Inc > Mobile Development > Device Application Designer > Errors/Warnings.
3. From the Problem list, select the error or warning to edit, then choose the severity level:
   • Error – an error appears in the Problems view. Errors prevent the generation of the device application.
   • Warning – a warning is not as critical as an error, and the problem that caused the warning appears in the Problems view.
   • Ignore – when severity level is set to "ignore," the applicable condition does not appear in the Problems view.
4. Click Apply.
5. Click OK.
