Creating a Save Context Action

Add a Save Context action to a control.

As with other actions, the control to which you add the Save Context action must support the action. The screen must contain at least one table or list detail widget.

  1. From Screen Design > Palette > Actions, select Save Context.
  2. Drag and drop the Save Context action onto the appropriate control on the Screen Design page.
  3. In the Save Context Action dialog, select:
    • Control – select the table or list detail for which to save the context.
    • Relationship – (optional) select the relationship to use when switching screens.
  4. Click OK.
