Creating a New Mobile Business Object Reference

Use the Mobile Business Object References dialog to view, edit, and create new mobile business object references. This allows you to create a screen with a predefined mobile business object as the source, for example, a virtual table.

1. Right-click in any page of the Device Application Designer (except Introduction) and select Mobile Business Object References.
2. In the Mobile Object References dialog, click New.
3. Click Search to find the mobile business object for which you want to create a reference.
4. In the Search for Mobile Business Object dialog, enter your search criteria, and click Search.
5. Select the mobile business object from the list, and click OK.
6. In the Mobile Business Object References dialog, in Display Name, enter the name that is used to show the device application on the device.
7. (Optional) Select a profile from the Profile drop-down list, or click New to create a new Unwired Platform profile.
8. (Optional) Select Use login profile to use the login profile. If you select this option, the Profile drop-down is disabled.
9. Click OK.

  Mobile business object references are deleted when you delete the control with which the mobile business object is associated.

  Configure an initial synchronization parameter for a mobile business object (MBO).
