Search to find a contact.
To find a contact quickly, you can use a text string to narrow the list of contacts.

On the home screen, select Contacts.

Select on which fields you want to search: All, First Name, Last Name, or Company.

Tap the Search box, then enter a text string to narrow the results, then tap Search.

Select the contact to view.
