Listing client upgrade rules

You must create client upgrade rules before you can list them. See Creating a client upgrade rule.

To list client upgrade rules:

  1. Log in to M-Business Server.

  2. In the navigation panel, choose Server » Client Upgrade » List Rules.

  3. From the Existing Client Upgrade Rules page you can:

    • View the number of entries for each status for a rule:

      • Pending Upgrades – this status indicates that an M-Business Client has synchronized with a version that should be upgraded according to the upgrade rule. In the case of cradle-only deployment, the installer file is sent to the client desktop at this time. In the Wireless Only case, the CAB or PRC files are sent at this time.

      • Failed Upgrades – this status indicates that an unknown scenario has prevented the upgrade from occurring.

      • Completed Upgrades – this status indicates that an M-Business Client has synchronized after a Pending Upgrade and the reported client version matches the expected client version.

    • Edit a rule by clicking Rule Name.

    • Delete a rule by clicking Delete.
