Setting up the UDDI Server

The common services layer provides command scripts that you can use to set up an EAServer-hosted UDDI server. Once you have set up the private UDDI server, it automatically runs within the same EAServer host as Service Container.

You must setup the UDDI server using the corresponding script. Do not try deploying the UDDI server via the management console. The management console technique is supported only by EAServer and is not recommended for WorkSpace deployments.

Deploy the UDDI Server to the Service Container runtime environment: On Windows, run:
<installation directory>\DevRuntimes\EAServer\bin deploy.bat
..\extras\juddi\juddi.war

On UNIX, run:

		<installation directory>/DevRuntimes/EAServer/bin deploy.sh
../extras/juddi/juddi.war
The UDDI Registry server is set up for runtime. The next time Service Container starts or stops, the UDDI server also starts or stops automatically.
