Dropping an Index

Remove an unused index from a file system document store or from a passive document store.

  1. In the Enterprise Explorer, expand Sybase Search Servers > (Sybase Search Connection Profile) > Sybase Search Server > Document Stores.
  2. Expand File System Import Manager and select the document store from which you want to drop an index.
    Note: Expand Internet Import Manager to drop an index from a passive document store.
  3. Right-click the selected document store and click Drop Index.
  4. Click OK to remove the index.
