Miscellaneous preferences define behavior for creating Adaptive Server Enterprise nonsharable temporary tables while editing, running, or saving stored procedures or triggers. Behavior for dropping and renaming objects is also specified.

| Insert Table Creation Statements as Annotations (recommended) |
Set the New Temporary Table wizard default behavior to insert the SQL to create the table as a comment in the procedural object definition. This option is selected automatically when you select Enable Autoexecute SQL Statement for Temporary Table(s). |
