Running a SQL Anywhere or Sybase IQ Event

Run a SQL Anywhere or Sybase IQ event to test an event handler without invoking a launch configuration.

  1. Under the Events folder, right-click the event you want to edit, and choose Run to invoke the Configure Optional Parameters dialog.
  2. Click Add for each parameter you want to add to the table.

    The Input Parameter dialog appears.

  3. Enter the name and value of the parameter in the appropriate fields.
  4. Click OK to return to the Configure Optional Parameters dialog.

    The new parameter and its value appear in the table.

  5. When you are done adding parameters, click OK to run the event.

    SQL Results view displays the success, failure, or termination of the run instance.
