The PATH environment variable is an operating system required variable that includes the directories where Sybase IQ executables are located. On Windows, the installation program modifies PATH. On UNIX, run the environment source file to include the necessary directories.
On Windows, PATH takes the place of the LIBRARY_PATH variable, so executables and DLLs are located using the PATH variable.
