You can create a model report directly from one of the standard report
templates without making any object or format selections. Whether you choose a template or
create an empty report, you can modify it in the Report Editor.
- Select to open the List of Reports, and click the New Report tool.
- Enter a Report name, and select a
Language for the report's titles and other framing
text.
- [optional] Select a report template from the list to
prepopulate the report. The following standard templates are available:
- Full– provides
lists of all the types of objects in the model, together with
detailed information on each main and sub-object.
- List – provides
lists of all the types of objects in the model.
- Standard – provides lists of all the types of
objects in the model, together with detailed information on each
main object.
- <None> – creates an empty report.

- [optional] To use the new report format and editor (see The Report Editor), deselect Use legacy Report
Editor.
- Click OK to create the report and open it in the Report Editor (see The Report Editor).
- [optional] Generate or print the report by clicking the
appropriate toolbar tool.
