Hardware and software requirements

Table 1-3 shows the system hardware and software requirements for SDK and Open Server.

On Windows 2000 (x86), Windows 2003 (x86), and Windows XP (x86) systems, the ODBC drivers are 32-bit. All required network software supplied by your database system vendors must be 32-bit compliant.

On Windows 2003 (x64), the ODBC driver is 64-bit. All required network software supplied by your database system vendors must be 64-bit compliant.

Table 1-4 shows the system requirements for ODBC and OLE DB.
