Explanation

A call to cs_locale() or cs_loc_alloc() has failed.

Action

Use a trace utility such as truss to identify which of these caused the error:

• Insufficient memory to load the locale information.

• Missing localization files.

• The action parameter of cs_locale() is set to CS_SET but the *buffer locale name cannot be found in the Sybase locales file.

• The action parameter of cs_locale() is set to CS_GET but buflen indicates that the *buffer data space is too small.
