Directory entry name formats

Entry names must be recognized by the directory provider software. Each provider requires a different name syntax. Table 2-21 illustrates some examples of fully qualified names.

These examples are for discussion purposes only. For name syntax information on directories other than the interfaces file, please see the documentation for the network directory provider software used on your system. All example entry names in this book are fictional.
