Nodes in Cluster Do Not Start Because of JVM Heap Space

Problem: Nodes in an SAP Mobile Server cluster do not start properly after installing the SAP® Data Orchestration Engine Connector (DOE-C).

Explanation: If after installing DOE-C, SAP Mobile Server cluster nodes do not start, check the SAP Mobile Server log file for this message:

java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: GC overhead limit exceeded

Workaround: Add more JVM heap space to the affected SAP Mobile Server hosts. See Tuning SAP Mobile Server Performance in the Administration Workbook.
