Key or Keystore Messages Received in Server Log

Problem: An SAP Mobile Server error message regarding keystore tampering prevents SAP Control Center from connecting to SAP Mobile Server.

One of two messages may be displayed in the server log console of SAP Control Center when keystore and private key passwords are not correctly implemented in the runtime:

Message for keystore password issues: –

SUP server error message:
2012-03-13 13:32:02.535 CONSOLE MMS Thread-58 [com.sybase.sup.server.Console] java.io.IOException: Keystore was tampered with, or password was incorrect

Message private key password issues: –

WARN MMS Thread-5 [com.sybase.djc.server.jetty.WebServer] Failed to
      start Web Server: 'java.io.IOException: Cannot recover key'

Solution:

Ensure the SAP Mobile Server is a registered resource in SAP Control Center, and that the regular, non-SSL port is configured. See Adding or Updating SAP Mobile Server Registration Properties in SAP Control Center for SAP Mobile Platform.
