Problem: The installer creates a service that is defined by the user
performing the installation. When Windows forces a domain password change, the SAP Mobile Server service fails to start, because the former domain
password is still used.
Solution: Change the password for the service by:
- In the Windows Control Panel, open the Services pane.
- Right-click SAP Mobile Server service, and choose
Properties.
- In the Log On tab, configure properties for the host computers user account and ensure the newly changed domain password is used.
- Click OK.
- Right-click SAP Mobile Server service, and choose
Restart.
