Generating DB File DDL Commands

Display the SQL code for adding a DB file to a dbspace. The SQL code can be a useful reference and training tool.

1. In the Perspective Resources view, highlight the resource and select Resource > Administration Console.
2. In the left pane of the Administration Console view, select IQ Servers > Space Management > DB Files.
3. In the DB Files view, highlight the DB file.
4. Hover the mouse pointer over the DB file and click the arrow.
5. Select Generate DDL.
   The DDL tab shows the SQL code used to add the selected DB file to the dbspace.
