Creating a Temporary Database Group
Create a temporary database group using the SAP Control Center Administration Console.
In the left pane of the Administration Console, expand
ASE Servers
>
Schema Objects
>
Databases
.
Click
Temporary Database Groups
.
Click the drop-down arrow and select
New
.
On the Introduction screen, select the server in which to create a database group.
On the Group Name screen, enter the name of the temporary database group.
On the Databases screen, specify the temporary database to be added to the temporary database group.
On the Bindings screen, select:
Bind Application
to specify applications to be bound to the temporary database group.
Bind Login
to specify logins to be bound to the temporary database group.
Note:
If you change the binding of a login to a different group, the old binding is no longer valid.
(Optional) Click
Summary
to view your selected options.
