Setting Up the Environment for the JMS Adapter

This section describes how to configure your system to use the Sybase CEP JMS adapters. Sybase CEP provides a JMS input adapter and a JMS output adapter. Each of these adapters is effectively a client in a JMS system.

Before you can use the JMS adapters, you will have to install and configure some software, including a JMS server. The Sybase CEP JMS adapters are is designed to work with any JMS Server. To make our discussion more concrete, we will sometimes refer to the BEA™ WebLogic™ JMS server, but you can use a different JMS server.
