Shutdown Sequence

Provides directions on shutting down Sybase CEP.

We recommend that you shut down in the following order:

  1. Stop the input source.
  2. Stop the output adapter.
  3. Stop the query.

    If the Sybase CEP module is shut down before the output adapter is stopped, the adapter displays error messages. This is a result of the adapter being unable to subscribe to the stream and is not indicative of more serious problems.
